The Response/Leflein Associates survey, entitled “The Response Insurance National Driving Habits Survey” received pick-up for over a year in more than 250 news outlets, including USA today (twice), Fox News Channel, Time magazine, Cosmopolitan and virtually every major daily newspaper in the nation.

  Among its discoveries, Leflein’s research uncovered that 76% of all drivers engaged in various activities while driving that distracted their attention from the road, including reading, writing, fighting, combing their hair and putting in contact lenses. These findings were alarming enough to catch the eye of newspapers, websites, TV and radio stations nationwide.
